Today Gerry Sutcliffe has announced plans to introduce a system of licencing for all off shore operators who wish to target British consumers
DCMS will consult on changing the existing system of remote gambling regulation in Britain so that all operators who wish to target British consumers must be licenced by the Gambling Commission.This would introduce obligations on those operators to comply with the Commission`s software testing, age verification, self exclusion, technical standards and social responsibility requirements to ensure a more consistent level of protection for British consumers.
